Now this is what's popular: palm trees. I don't think they're native to the Bay Area as I see grown trees being planted all the time. They're at the show, they're de riguer for every new business park (see above), they line freeway ramps. For god's sake, even In 'n Out Burger has them. And nothing's sadder than the palms at the empty former headquarters of Palm.
