Thankful and Type
I fell and hurt my foot. I laid in the driveway while mentally assessing if there were any broken bones. My biggest worry was that someone would see me. I'm using a cane temporarily and a boot with velcro until the swelling goes down enough for a shoe. I hobble around and feel sorry for myself. Oh boo hoo.
I take my health, not for granted, but as a given even with the asthma which I've had all my life. But when I read Mari-France's story, I just want to quit whining and say a thankful prayer. She uses a Mac to communicate, in particular SwitchXS. [Thanks, Ricky]
From McSweeney's: Caslon, Baskerville, and Franklin: Revolutionary Types. I love history and type too, so when they're mixed together, it makes great reading. That Sarah Eaves. Sounds like an audacious woman to me. [Thanks, John]
