Drawing the line

BoingBoing has produced a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Zombie Yoga. Such a funny concept—zombies doing yoga.

I ended up on Amazon afterwards, and added this little gem to my Wish List, The Zombie Survival Guide, written by Max Brooks, son of Mel Brooks.

I've seen more than a few zombie movies. Here are my Favorites:

  1. Shaun of the Dead: There are so many great lines in this movie. Shaun and Ed are such a team.
  2. Fido: About a zombie, Fido, who is acquired by the Robinson family and becomes Timmy's best friend. Billy Connolly plays Fido and is great considering zombies can't talk, just groan / moan / rawrrrr. But Fido has the loveliest smile.
  3. The Return of the Living Dead: Too bad the version going around now doesn't have the original music. But still, who can hear “do you wanna party” and not think of zombies.
  4. Zombi 2: A classic zombie movie, but the very best part, of course, was the splinter in the eye scene. I walked out on it the first time I saw it. I came back again and sat through the whole thing, watching behind fingers over my eyes. Yes, I'm chicken that way.

p.s. The Grandsons dropped by work to show me their stormtrooper costumes. So cute.
