Early to Bed, Early to Rise…
One of my biggest problems I face is how to get up at 5:00 a.m. to exercise, shower, get ready for work, and be there by 6:30 a.m. I have to work nine-hour days, and so, being a morning person and energy-deprived in the evenings, this makes exercising after work almost impossible.
What usually happens is that I say screw exercise, I'm gonna sleep another 45 minutes because I'm too tired. I've started limiting my Starbucks in the morning (except on weekends) and I've learned to cut the caffeine off about 6:30 p.m. so that I can sleep when I go to bed about 8:30, but I'm still having trouble getting up. Here's Steve's How to Become an Early Riser. Good tips that I'm going to try starting tonight. [Thanks, Evan]
Alessandro has posted an updated version of Nifty Corners, rounded corners with no images and just a little CSS and Javascript. He gives twelve examples using this technique. Sounds very handy. Will have to look into more.

File under ‘Easily Amused,’ but I love webcams. Yahoo has some nice webcam widgets. Christmas season was good with Old Faithful, but it stopped showing pictures in January I think. It's hard to tell with the snow. So, I've been webcam deprived until today when I downloaded the webcam widget showing the view from several cruise ships. The Diamond Princess in Melbourne, the Golden Princes anchored at Antigua, the Grand Princess off Playa del Carmen… Makes me want to take a cruise. One day.
Just found this link, The Lazy IA's Guide to Making Sitemaps. Since I already have my sitemap in Excel, can't wait to import it into Visio 2003. It's those cheap thrills that makes my day.
