Inflatable Sheep

Merry Holidays to everyone. I'm on vacation this week. Yea! I've been working nine hours a day for the past couple of months as well as working on my employment agency's website (which went live last week). So, I'm up for air.

Thank god for newsfeeds. Good way to play catch-up when you have little time. So, I'm using Yahoo's Widgets along with Dashboard. I downloaded the cam at Old Faithful. It's been snow on the ground, mountain in the background, got dark about the same time I'd leave work, and then, around Christmas, what's this…people. Three have a sign in front of the webcam, “Hi Don!” Fun for the easily amused.

Speaking of…

Hear, hear for that guy with the Christmas Lights video, the two Asian guys doing the Backstreet Boys, and the Chronic of Narnia Rap.

Have been crotcheting as a way to wind down and turn off the mind. Good way to do it. I say this one afghan and seven scarves later. All the scarves but one were Christmas presents. Recipients have been kind.

I got a new small HDTV with a DVD included for my bedroom. Honey got me cable hook-up and a couple of bed trays so I can still crochet while watching DVDs or Rome re-runs.

In two weeks, I begin designing a website for an Oklahoma architect. I look forward to it, but am going to enjoy my being off a diet for a week and other fun stuff.
