Cruisin'
Have been spending even more time out of the house since I got my Electra Cruiser Deluxe. A lovely cruiser it is with it's torpedo tail light.
It was just the answer to my post broken leg period where walking remains painful, more from side effects of going through the valley of menopause. With my frequent ‘power surges’ has come the need to accommodate. Like a new haircut that works wet and dry, so helmet-head is not a problem. Like dressing in layers. Like I'm gonna be wet no matter what I do. Like riding a bike instead of walking for exercise.
I've been in the process of resurrecting and re-designing my fem•mass webpages. This is one of my to-do's from Blogher. My small part in making women's websites more visible. Of course, the emphasis has shifted from personal homepages to more blog-oriented. But the main guidelines remain: no commercial sites, no fluff, no men.
A few links to catch-up…

Ponzi has two podcast sessions on the Blogher. It's her first time podcasting, and she's done a good job of capturing the different facets of the conference. See The Chris Pirillo Show on iTunes, or hear it at Chris's website.

Powerbloghers, please stand up. See Alexandra's powerblogher links (intro to tagging and social bookmarking, introduction to using an RSS newsreader, posts about using del.icio.us, tools that make del.icio.us even more life-altering). Lots of good info, Alexandra!
Shelley gives up something to think about regarding tagging and Technorati and linking, Technology is neither good nor evil. [Thanks, Jeneane]
