Inflatable Sheep

I've been lagging for a year on posting any new photos in Slice, my non-database photolog. So much work. Yet the urge to publish photos along with Sheep entries remains.

Since I have Sheep on Movable Type, I know I could create another database for photos and transition Slice over there. But I don't want to go to all the work that setting up an MT database and applying my Slice style would involve.

So, I'm taking flickr out for a spin. Not my lovely Slice style, but easier to get pictures uploaded. Like the tags idea also. Makes it easy to find specialized areas, like Bay Area photos.

The only thing about using more outside software to keep my content and photos organized, is what if something should happen to the software, the company, or my access to my content. I keep copies of all the originals of the photos. Will have to see if there's any other way of backing up my Movable Type content in a format I can read other than by exporting it with all the MT stuff.
