Inflatable Sheep

My tootsie may be on the verge of recovering with the help of Prednisone and other fine steroids. I also have to cover my foot in a wet towel that's been soaked in Aveeno and water for five minutes and air dry for five minutes. Repeat twice.

I think doing this chore on the patio makes it like a little Calgon-Take-Me-Away moment. With John's helping hand, I can relax while he does all the foot work like the nice guy he is.

In between the soaking and airing, John, Teddy Bear (aka Miss FluffyStuff), and I kick back, watching the water sprinkler go back and forth in the glow of the late afternoon sun. The birds twitter. Children laugh in the apartment complex just over the fence. There's a cool breeze.

John waters my plants and his tomatoes. Teddy, my little shadow, rests at my side.

It is a very nice slice of life.
