Inflatable Sheep

I've been out of commission the past few days. Broke my leg in a fall at work. Friday the 13th, of course. Today I pull my wheelchair up to the computer, feeling a little bit normal in a Vicodin-pain-in-my-leg-all-the-time kind of floaty way.

Monday I got my permanent cast. An improved process since I broke my other leg way back in The Winter of '88. The biggest improvement being the use of fiberglass and offering colors for the outside of the cast. I am regal in purple.

Adjusting to the constrictions of life in a wheelchair and limited movement on crutches has been trying. I'm not graceful and can whine with the best of them as my nearest and dearest can testify.

Anyway, I see the Web carried on without me…
