iTunes Videos (Don't need no MTV)
Drawing the line

I've installed the Pimpzilla theme on my Firefox and are we having fun. Yes, it's those cheap thrills.

Speaking of…

I'm using IGetMovies so now I can download iTunes videos and watch them over and over and over again.

Through iTunes videos, I found two bands that are bit of a throwback to late 70's rock with their sound, long hair parted in the middle, and just playing in jeans and t-shirts (or not): Silvertide, and American Minor. Silvertide: how refreshing to hear an actual guitar solo. AC/DC would be proud. And Mountain would be proud of American Minor.

I didn't realize I had been starving for guitar solos with all the alt-pop-boy-bands (i.e., Moron Five, 3 Dudes Down, Keen) clogging up the airwaves. Hey, I downloaded Audioslave's “Be Yourself” just for that tiny guitar solo.

Another video turned up Slash's guitar solo on Velvet Revolver's "Dirty Little Thing." (Yes, Scott got out of rehab long enough to do a video.) Now, try playing that song, then “Sex Type Thing” by Stone Temple Pilots, and then follow up with “Nightrain” by Guns N' Roses. That's what I call a good time.

Of course, the iTunes videos has some of those guilty pleasures. Like Ozone's “Dragostea Din Tei” which I can't help but play first thing in the morning. Singing along in Romanian is the one way to kickstart your day, especially if you sing along with this lively fellow.
