And ice cream? Well, we had yogurt for ice cream until we were old enough to attend other children's birthday parties. Birthday parties soon reduced that notion and then the Dairy Queen entered our lives. I miss the Dairy Queen. A double dipped cone is almost as good as sex. Almost is the operative word. |

I'm pretty much of a low maintenance type of chick. I revel in comfort and I like to be able to have fun on the fly. I have to say that I wouldn't be able to have much fun running around in heels and a skirt. On the rare occasions that I do wear girlie shoes (and this is only when I have to such as to weddings and such), I always end up tripping on flat surface, which is pretty sad. But, it's hard to maneuver in those contraptions of torture. |

I'm a vegetarian for intensely personal reasons. I love animals, and don't feel comfortable eating them. But I don't care what other people do, and I don't try to sway them to my beliefs. In fact, that is probably the major guiding philosophy of my life—live and let live. I don't try to influence other people to change their opinions, and I don't expect them to try to change me. |

Kids know. Kids are all about things being fair. They keep track, they watch constantly for any sign of unfairness. They call you on it. The idea, to my daughter, that women don't necessarily have equal rights, was one she almost couldn't comprehend. |
