IT'S ALIVE

Bettie died. Again. I had to start from scratch; she's now on her fourth life. On the good side, everything was backed up.

I took the opportunity to install OS X. Now running 10.1.2 with a 9.2.1 Classic environment. But the best part is that now I can download iPhoto. Can't wait to take it for a drive. With BBedit, Photoshop, Fetch, and Eudora up so far, what more could a girl want. Well, okay, my Palm would be nice.

I draw 'big, bold lemons'. My drawing is a painful process of draw lines, erase, erase, erase, draw more lines, erase, erase, erase. Miz Liz, however, just whips out that charcoal stick and it is done. It is perfect. She doesn't erase. I hate her.
Isabella, the teacher, says to paint yellow all over the canvas as white is too distracting. I hadn't heard this before, but am willing to give almost anything a try.
Miz Liz's lemons and my lemons. Hers are so design-y; mine are all aquiver. Isabella said not to use lines. An alien concept to the person who outlines everything.
