CHRISTMAS EVE
The Christmas season climaxes for me tonight.
The build-up has been long in coming. Two whole months, a record. From the gathering of crafts at the San Francisco Flower Market, to the making of Christmas cards, to the decorating of a door, to the watching of a sunset at Half Moon Bay with Mama before finding all the good Christmas lights. And don't forget the great ride down Highway 1 to Big Sur.
Throw in a trip to the Christmas in the Park in San Jose, buying presents at 9:00 a.m., decorating the cube, making fudge and cookies...
This isn't really like me. Something usually happens. I get pissed. I throw the tree out. I feel disappointed. Not this year. I've got my timing down. Have all of your fun done before the week of Christmas Eve.
I have a big-ass list of links that I have been Palming, but the rest of my pre-Christmas celebration awaits me, and I think the list can wait. Have a cool yule, y'all.
