More than you want to know
What does the ‘L’ stand for?

L stands for Lynn. In a world where they want your first name and middle initial, I've been bucking the system for years by insisting on my first initial and middle name on all of my documents. If I get a call or letter for Lynn, then I know it's no one I want to talk to.

My whole name is important to me. Guys take theirs for granted. But after four marriages, and three different last names, I decided to stay with the last name I was born with.

Where can I find Stupid Penis Tricks?

Go here.

I hear a southern accent (124K). Where are you from?

Originally born in Charleston, SC, but mostly Texas and Arkansas since my dad was in the Army and we moved around a lot. But I've been in California for 23 years now and have yet to develop the California non-accent accent with that hint of Valley Girl and every sentence ends on an up beat that sounds like a question?

What is “Makes Grown Men Cry”?

The name of my personal website and web design business.

Why “Makes Grown Men Cry”?

Because I do.

How did a nice girl like you end up in Northern California?

Love is an amazing thing. Honey and I have known each other since 1975, but didn't start dating until 1980—six weeks before he was to move to San Jose, CA. What we thought was foolin around turned into love and with his parting, he told me if I could save up the money, I could live with him until I found my own place and job.

Three months later, a three year old Sherah, three suitcases with everything I owned, and I boarded a Greyhound to San Jose.

Honey and I moved in together in an apartment in Milpitas. I rode the 20, which crossed the Valley east and west, and the 22 which ran mostly north and south. I remember noticing the abundance of Lockheeds, Fairchilds, IBM's and other techy type businesses all over the place. I had never heard of ‘Silicon Valley’. Sometimes fate is good to you.

How would you describe yourself?

Extroverted introvert, independent woman, experimenter of hair-do's and don'ts, right hand of road karma, benevolent despot.
