Real Life. Real Web. The two aren't separate. These are my observations about the way they twine together.

I'm no great authority, I just dabble in the Web a lot and from different points of view: a woman with a personal homepage, a business owner with a commercial site, a freelancer who earns her living as a web design ho for an online chat company.

Watching the Web go through it's gyrations has been a hell of a ride since 1995. It's also been an interesting experience watching others attempt to portalize, categorize, and demographisize the Web. They say, yep, we got this money-maker down. We have harnessed the Web.

Oh yeah? Well, I won't be unbuckling my seatbelt any time soon. I don't think this ride's over.
