I breathe a sigh of relief. Welcome to my new version of Fresh Dev. Three months without a page designed. Yikes. Close call there.

I'm having a crisis d' homepage. Not enough time in the day to work, run my business, make love to my husband, play with the dog, listen to music, do art, work on my personal homepage. This year finding myself less introspective. Like I've had my head down, and am just now raising my eyes to what's happenin.

Things like I've gotten a permanent job (first one in ten years, hep me mama) as a web designer at an online chat "community". An interesting perspective on the Web.

I wrote an article on directories for A List Apart. I went to eat the last breakfast at the Kozy Kitchen in Milpitas. Awww, good family-owned diners are hard to come by. Bye John. Had my mamogram, pap test, eyes checked, cholesterol checked, diabetes checked, alzheimers checked, and had a new spring do, so I'm good for another year. Got my taxes out the door. Did an illustration for Playboy Online, Sherlock Penis. I was also a volunteer at the Webby Awards. The party was a blast, especially G-Love. Went to an Offspring concert where John and I weren't the oldest people there, but I think we were the only parents who forgot to bring the kiddos along. First time seeing that mosh thang happening. Groovy. Yes, and the Offspring are pretty fly for a bunch of white guys. ;)

Have been tweaking my pages here and there, but I didn't write down any of the changes and well you know with that short-term mammory, I can't recall the details.

My son, Billy, turned 20 this month. Where ever you are, your Mama's thinkin about you, hon.

My grandson, BillyBob, continues to grow into a studdly kinda boy, grabbing his mom's hair with his fingers, cramming both feet into his mouth, and saying things like 'mama' and 'I love Grandma Shell the best.'

Despite the lack of time, life is good. I continue to soak it up.

Peace, y'all,
Hell Michelle

I've inserted a new page, No Censorship, that links off of LMichelle's "ADULT CONTENT". I've included links to various free speech sites on the Web.

Also, finished my list of Female Resources on my More Females page connected to fem•mass pages.

New additions to fem•mass are Katia Roberto and Terri Polen.

And I've added new Michelles to Michelles of the Web and Michelles Who Don't Spell Their Name Right. Welcome to the Michelle Web Domination campaign Michelle, Michelle, Michelle, Michelle Hosie, Michelle Meltzer, Michele, and Michele!

What Michelle update would be complete without the addition of a few more Michelle stories from those homepageless Michelles at Grounded Eagles. Read the Michelle story about the medical clerk who dropped an L from one Michelle's name, and did you know there's an overabundance of Michelles in Singapore. I know, no such thing. And, of course, the on-going controversy of being named after that Beatles song. Does it suck or is it just "special"?

Have a Michelluva day while I hose the cold germs off my keyboard with 409.

In between jobs right now and so am hustling around trying to get caught up on my webpage updates. I thought I'd wait to note all the additions/changes until I came up with my '99 Fresh Dev webpage, but I'm still trying to decide how I want it to look. So, in the meantime. . .

I have to admit to being particularly burned-out at the beginning of Christmas vacation. Just wanted to veg, but instead I began reviewing personal homepages for fem•mass. And, boy, did they revive me. I picked up energy and inspiration and by the end of this round, I was ready to kick some ass on my own pages.

Welcome to fem•mass these new and shining lights: Abigail Salud, Kristina Pfaff, Stephanie Robesky, Melissa Hayhurst, Jenny Honner, Jacki Barber, Jenn Tatroe, Melyssa, Tesserae, Nellie Levine, Pamela Yax, Raven, Beth Frey, Susan Hope Mayberry, Solandia, Melanie 'Gabriel' Penner, Tiffany Maxwell, Jolanta Lapiak, Summer Burton, and Pandora!

I've also updated my More Females page to include even more links to more women's personal homepages. I figure with the growth of the Web and the growing difficulty of finding things on the Web that I better start leaving better bread-crumb trails. Will be including links to female resources a little later today.
